Vela’s Ubiq Signal Acquisition Appliance is engineered to seamlessly capture and convert ATSC 1.0 and 3.0 signals for efficient transport over IP networks, including the public internet.  This easy-to-configure appliance features built-in tuners and transcodes single and multi-program transport streams for efficient transmission over IP networks. Select individual programs from multiple MPTS streams and remux them into Single Program Transport Streams (SPTS) or transcode them into H.264 video with AAC audio to conserve bandwidth. Multiple codecs and IP protocols including UDP, SRT and Zixi are supported.
