TBEF Names 2021-22 Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to the 2021-2022 TBEF Scholarship Recipients!

TAB's scholarship foundation awarded $29,000 to 10 college and university students from all over Texas.

“The scholarship judges were impressed and inspired by this group of outstanding future broadcasters whose submissions clearly indicate there is no shortage of passion and talent for the industry," said TAB President Oscar Rodriguez.

“It was especially nice to see such a broad representation of Texas colleges among these recipients which demonstrates the dedication and commitment of educators throughout the state’s higher education community.”

Texas broadcasters started the Texas Broadcast Education Foundation in 1973 to foster learning in broadcasting, broadcast journalism, management, advertising, broadcast electronics and other arts and techniques of the broadcasting field.
