The Texas Association of Broadcasters is involved in the production and distribution of two debates involving candidates for statewide office.

Tuesday, Sept. 30, 8 pm CT

TAB is funding the TV satellite distribution and real-time Spanish translation of both debates. TAB is helping to arrange distribution of the debates to Texas radio stations via Content Depot, the Texas State Networks and an mp3 audio stream.

The debates will be made available on an unrestricted basis to all Texas radio and TV stations to broadcast live or delayed. The debates may also be streamed on station websites and archived for later playback online at station affiliated sites. Portions may be used in news stories compiled by stations.

Stations may download specific information for both debates. These releases contain information concerning TV satellite coordinate feed information, radio feed information, formats, times, captioning, Spanish audio, graphics, streaming, onsite media coverage, background information, etc.
