Job Description

Country radio station KTTX, with studios in Brenham, TX, has an immediate opening for a full-time Morning Show Disc Jockey. Responsibilities include being "on air" weekday mornings 6-10, doing production, assisting with music logs, and doing live remote broadcasts. The Morning Show is hosted by a two-person team.  Applicants should be outgoing, creative, and enjoy meeting the public. He or she should be able to read and speak well, and be very organized. Prior radio experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Normal work week is 40-44 hours with some weekend shifts including remotes/promotions. KTTX is family-owned and operated, not a big corporation. Benefits include paid vacation and sick time, health insurance, and profit sharing plan.
