Austin’s Empress of Soul, Tameca Jones, is a beloved singer praised for her intense, passionate vocal delivery and fierce performances.
After gaining a strong reputation as a gifted cover artist, Jones started writing her own original compositions and debuted them at the 2015 Austin City Limits Festival.
She released her debut EP “Naked” in 2016. She toured with Gary Clark Jr and shared stages with Leon Bridges, Willie Nelson and Lukas Nelson, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Shakey Graves, BB King, and countless other major artists.
In November 2023, she will release her debut full length album “Plants and Pills.”
