SBE Workshop

Open to students, broadcast engineers and the public

Chapter 67 of The Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) will host a full day of technical training on September 25 at the UTA Campus in Arlington.

The event is a nationally-known Ennes Workshop with presentations by industry experts on HD Radio, Digital and Mobile Television, Antennas, IT Networking, TCP/IP and related topics.

Typically, simultaneous Radio and TV tracks divide the group up for specialized learning.

At this event, a special track designed for IT students and others interested in a possible career in broadcasting will cover some basic technology topics.

The workshop runs from 8 am to 5 pm with breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack provided.

It is open to students at a cost of $10 for the day, SBE & SMPTE members at $25.

For non-members and the public the rate is $45.

The SBE and Local SBE Chapter 67 along with the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) have joined to host this event.

Updated Ennes-DFW Workshop information, presentations, speaker bios, maps and a full schedule of events is updated daily and posted at ennesdfw.info.
