SBE Workshop

Chapter 67 of The Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) will host a full day of technical training on September 25 at the UTA Campus in Arlington.
The event is a nationally-known Ennes Workshop with presentations by industry experts on HD Radio, Digital and Mobile Television, Antennas, IT Networking, TCP/IP and related topics.
Typically, simultaneous Radio and TV tracks divide the group up for specialized learning.
At this event, a special track designed for IT students and others interested in a possible career in broadcasting will cover some basic technology topics.
The workshop runs from 8 am to 5 pm with breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack provided.
It is open to students at a cost of $10 for the day, SBE & SMPTE members at $25.
For non-members and the public the rate is $45.
The SBE and Local SBE Chapter 67 along with the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) have joined to host this event.
