- TAB News Producing Workshop Set for November

Texas’ open records laws are the focus of an hour-long Sept. 12 virtual legal workshop presented by ProJourn and headlined by Tom Williams, partner with the Haynes Boone law firm, a TAB Associate Member.

ProJourn, a pro bono legal initiative for local journalists operated by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, provides small news organizations, nonprofit newsrooms, documentary filmmakers and freelancers no-cost legal help with pre-publication review and public records access.

The initiative is funded by RCFP, Microsoft Corp., the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the Davis Write Tremaine law firm.
