Maisel joins KTEN-TV

Anthony Maisel is the new general manager of KTEN-TV Sherman-Denison.

He most recently served as news director at KXII-TV in the same market.

Maisel also has held station management and news director roles for major broadcast groups that include Tribune, Telemundo, Clear Channel and Post Newsweek.

“I am delighted to be joining the staff at KTEN.  Our goal as a team is to serve our viewers in news, truly engage in community involvement, and provide our advertisers excellent service that helps grow their business,” Maisel said.

After beginning his career in Colorado Springs, subsequent news and station management positions took him to diverse markets such as Wichita, Houston, El Paso, Jacksonville, Denver, Houston, and Dallas before moving to the area.

“Living in Texoma is a delight, and facing challenges with the top notch KTEN staff makes it that much better.  The foundation is here, and our job as a team is to improve every day.  I’m confident everyone will rise to the challenge.”

KTEN-TV carries NBC, ABC and CW programming.
