
Hudson announces retirement
posted on 9.04.2012Texas Tech's Jerry Hudson announced he is retiring on July 31, 2013.
Hudson is the founding dean of Texas Tech's College of Media and Communications.
His broadcast experience spans 12 years and includes positions in radio and television sales, radio personality, television sports personality and weather person. He has served as a research consultant on more than 100 marketing/advertising projects including research and marketing plans for banks, hospitals, media companies, political candidates, shopping malls and retail stores.
"I have been blessed with supportive and loyal alumni, great faculty and staff, and excellent assistance from the administration. Please know that you have made a difference in my life and the lives of many faculty, staff and students," Hudson said.
He and his wife Sue will remain in Lubbock.
