FCC to audit 24 Texas stations

The FCC this week mailed the first of its 2009 Equal Employment Opportunity audit letters to random radio and TV stations.

There are 24 Texas stations on the list:

  • KEDT-TV Corpus Christi
  • KPCB-TV Snyder
  • KWES-TV Midland-Odessa
  • KTTU-TV San Antonio
  • KCEB-TV Longview
  • KACC-FM Alvin
  • KLVI-AM Beaumont
  • KRGE-AM Weslaco
  • KOPY-FM Alice
  • KQXX-FM Mission
  • KVOZ-AM Del Mar Hills
  • KMLR-FM Gonzales
  • KYKS-FM Lufkin-Nacogdoches
  • KLVT-AM Levelland
  • KVLG-AM La Grange
  • KGAS-AM Carthage
  • KZMP-FM Pilot Point
  • KNOR-FM Krum
  • KNTE-FM El Campo
  • KYOK-AM Conroe
  • KTUE-AM Tulia
  • KIXK-FM Dalhart
  • KTNZ-AM Amarillo
  • KXAL-FM Tatum

Note: if your station has a current certificate of compliance through TAB's Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program, you still need to respond to the EEO audit letter.
