Broadcasters mourn loss of Osburn

Pioneer Texas broadcaster Dick Osburn passed away Sunday, Nov. 18.

A memorial service is set for Friday, Nov. 30 at 10 am at the April Sound Church in Montgomery.

His previous station affiliations include:

• KXOL Ft. Worth (1951-58, 1961-72)
• KJIM Ft. Worth (1958-61)
• KAMC Arlington
• Osburn/Reynolds Group (1974-92)

Osburn was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2002 (View a Houston Chronicle article about his induction).
