Broadcasters Mourn Loss of Matthew Sanderford, Jr.

Longtime Texas Broadcast Engineer and TAB Associate Member Matthew Sanderford, Jr, PE passed away on August 19.

Sanderford was a licensed Electrical Engineer, serving as a professional consultant to the Television and Radio industry.

He had operated Marsand, an engineering consulting company, for nearly 40 years with the primary service being the design and building of Radio and TV stations, along with troubleshooting the antenna and transmitter installations when trouble or failures occur. 

He's survived by his wife Margarita and five children.

His son David continues his father's legacy, operating Intelligent Design Services, Inc. (IDSi).
