This 30-minute session will review the UIL’s media rules.

The webinar will cover:

• Securing broadcast and/or streaming rights for UIL Events (arranging broadcast/streaming rights, agreements, etc.)
• Prohibitions of live broadcasts and streaming of UIL Events (e.g. Friday night ban on live TV broadcasts, etc.)
• Prohibitions on content during live broadcasts and streaming of UIL Events (e.g. cannot run certain types of advertising such as alcohol, political candidates, etc.)
• Media rights during playoffs and State Championship events
• Utilizing the UIL’s website for media information, regulations and guidelines, etc.
