Biography
Stan Moote is a highly-respected industry veteran with several patents under his belt.
Moote began his television career in 1977, as a plant engineer for CFTO-TV in Toronto, Canada.
He was involved in the original SMPTE Digital Video Standards Committee meetings creating CCIR-601. While on the board of the Video Services Forum, Moote helped define the implementation of various video transport services.
Through his global broadcast domain knowledge and business acumen developed while in Vice President and CTO roles at Leitch/Harris for the past three decades, Moote continues to focus on new technology trends with a down-to-earth practical approach that both engineers and business managers appreciate worldwide.
