TBEF Scholarships

Texas broadcasters started the Texas Broadcast Education Foundation in 1973 to foster learning in broadcasting, broadcast journalism, management, advertising, broadcast electronics and other arts and techniques of the broadcasting field.

TAB annually provides eight $3,000 scholarships and one $5,000 scholarship to Texas students.

We need your help!

TBEF typically fields three times as many scholarship applications as we can award.

Each year, the scholarship committee leaves at least half a dozen worthy applicants empty handed – students we are confident would help advance our industry.

With interest rates on the endowment funds barely covering the cost of the scholarships, TBEF needs your personal and corporate support to expand our efforts to recruit top-notch talent to our industry.
