Technical offerings at TAB/SBE 2010

National experts, 114 exhibit booths await engineers at TAB/SBE 2010!

Whether it?s improving a station?s online audio and video delivery or tending to the fundamentals of transmitter and tower maintenance and FCC compliance, it?s on engineers? agenda at TAB?s Annual Convention & Trade Show, Aug. 11-12 in Austin.

The event features 114 exhibit booths and 15 programs showcasing nationally recognized experts and industry leaders to provide the most content rich experience ever offered engineers at the largest state broadcast gathering in the country.

Programs begin Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 3 pm and continue all day Aug. 12.

?We have an all star line-up,? said David Ostmo of KABB/KMYS-TV San Antonio.

?Experts from all over the country are coming together to help engineers fine tune their skills and help our stations advance in an increasingly competitive media world.

?This event is like a mini-NAB in your backyard ? with sessions and vendors that will help you do your job more effectively as soon as you get back to the station.?

Ostmo was joined in planning the technical sessions for the Convention by Mike Wenglar of KVUE-TV Austin, Dave Matyis of Entercom Radio Austin, and Ben Downs of Bryan Broadcasting.
