It's time to focus on entries for the Texas Broadcast News Awards.

The awards recognize outstanding broadcast journalism produced by TAB Member Radio and TV stations serving local communities throughout the state.

Judges will consider English and Spanish language entries on a level playing field.

Important Dates

• Entries: must have been aired/posted/published in 2025
• Submission Window: December 1, 2025-January 25, 2026
• Judging Window: February 2-18
• Winners Announced: February 25
• In-Person Celebration: Saturday, April 11 (Westin Austin at the Domain)

Station Groups

• Radio-Large: Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin
• Radio-Other: All other Texas Markets
• TV-Large: Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin
• TV-Medium: Waco-Temple-Bryan, Rio Grande Valley, Texarkana-Shreveport, El Paso-Las Cruces, Tyler-Longview-Lufkin-Nacogdoches, Corpus Christi, Amarillo, Lubbock
• TV-Small: Beaumont-Port Arthur, Odessa-Midland, Wichita Falls-Lawton, Sherman-Ada, Abilene-Sweetwater, Laredo, San Angelo, Victoria
