TAB welcomes new members Stewart, Rodriguez

Dallas-based Stu Stewart is TAB’s newest Individual Member.

Stewart has more than 10 years in broadcasting, starting as a part time swing man at KBRQ Waco.

Graduating from the American Broadcasting School in 2007, Stewart has been a DJ at KFWR 95.9 “The Ranch” in Fort Worth and at KHYI 95.3 “The Range” in Dallas.

He also runs his own voice over business – A Voice 4 Hire Productions – offering emcee, DJ, sports announcing and many more services.

TAB offers Individual Membership to anyone interested in careers in the broadcast industry, students or educators in broadcasting and communications programs and employees of broadcast stations.

Raul Rodriguez is the newest member of TAB’s Golden Mic Club.

Rodriguez, current DOS at CCM+E in El Paso, has been working in radio and television for 27 years.

His previous station affiliations include KAMA, KAMZ and KINT, all El Paso, KRVA/KZDL Dallas-Fort Worth, KQQK and Telemundo in Houston, Border Media Partners in San Antonio and Laredo.

The club, open to broadcasters who have served the industry for 25+ years, meets for their Annual Banquet during TAB’s Convention & Trade Show.

This year’s banquet is set for Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 7:30 pm at the Renaissance Austin Hotel.
