TAB webinar on FCC political broadcast rules available for viewing online

This month’s 90 minute webinar on the FCC’s political broadcast rules has been posted to TAB’s online video archive.  

Attorney Gregg Skall with TAB Associate Member law firm Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLP presented the session on Sept. 4 just in time for the opening of the fall FCC political window.  

Skall covered the basics of the FCC political broadcast rules with special emphasis on proper sponsorship identification, candidate access to station airwaves, the “bona fide news exceptions”, political advertising rates, the online political file and the recent round of FCC inquiries in stations’ political files.
