TAB member stations now have direct access at TAB.ORG to the findings and other assets related to the Texas Media Consumption Study TAB commissioned from the SmithGeiger research firm in February.
The survey explores key topics relevant to member stations’ sales, news, programming, marketing, digital/streaming, social media, and overall strategy for growing and reaching audiences.
An in-depth sales workshop for station managers and marketing executives by SmithGeiger’s top research director is slated for the 2025 TAB Show Aug. 6-7.
TAB went “big” with this first-ever study, with a projected sample size of 2,000 (2,051 actual respondents), with 25% Spanish language respondents of which 200 were Spanish-dominant and 300 were Spanish-speaking.
The statewide survey data is grouped into eight regions, including North Texas, West Texas, South Texas, Central Texas, East Texas, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.
