TAB/SBE 2007: Annual Business Meeting

The Business Meeting is set for Thursday, Aug. 9 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Austin Hotel (Lobby Level, Ballroom B).

Watts photoMikal Watts will keynote the event. He is a South Texas attorney who is running for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Sen. John Cornyn.

The open board seats include five radio seats, three television seats, two Associate seats and the one seat each for non-commercial and retired members.

Directors whose terms extend beyond 2007 and current officers are not eligible for nomination.

A preliminary ballot listing the top two nominees for each seat was mailed to members July 23.
