TAB salutes public service efforts of several Texas stations

TAB will honor the fantastic public service efforts of Texas Radio and Television stations at the annual Community Service Awards Breakfast, Aug. 10 in Austin.

The Texas Army National Guard is TAB's partner in the breakfast, part of the #TAB2017 Convention & Trade Show.

TAB will present Bonner McLane Public Service Awards to several stations for their oustanding commitment to significant needs or concerns in their local community.

"Each local Radio and TV station being honored responded enthusiastically and creatively to specific needs in their communities," said TAB President Oscar Rodriguez.

"They exemplify the unique role that local broadcasters play in advancing the well-being of all Texans, day in and day out."
