TAB salutes Lone Star Leaders

Texas broadcasters annually honor the radio and television stations that have contributed the most to TAB's NCSA program.

This year's awards were presented on Thursday, Aug. 9 at the Community Service Awards Breakfast, part of TAB's 54th Annual Convention & Trade Show.

The Non-Commercial Sustaining Announcement (NCSA) program is vital to the expansion of services offered by TAB. Services include sales and newsroom worshops, legal and advertising guides, free legal advice and expert assistance on FCC issues.

The Lone Star Leader Awards are based on NCSA affidavits received at TAB prior to June 30, 2007 and are awarded in two television and four radio market categories.
