TAB Salutes Bonner McLane, Lone Star Leader Winners
posted on 5.19.2026Texas Broadcasters will celebrate the outstanding contributions of 12 Texas Radio and Television stations at the 2026 TAB Show - August 5-6 at the Kalahari Convention Center in Round Rock, TX.
TAB presents the Bonner McLane Public Service awards to stations for their exceptional contributions and service to their local communities.
Bonner McLane was TAB’s first Executive Director. He passed away in 1987.
TAB is excited to celebrate the following stations:
- Small Television: KTAB/KRBC-TV Abilene
- Medium Television: KETK-TV Tyler-Longview
- Large Television: WFAA-TV Dallas-Fort Worth
- Small Radio: Ranch Radio Group Kerrville
- Medium Radio: KURV/KBUC Rio Grande Valley
- Large Radio: KCBI Dallas-Fort Worth
The Bonner McLane Awards will be presented Thursday, Aug. 6 during the annual Awards Gala.
TAB's Lone Star Leader Awards honor the stations who have contributed the most to TAB's Public Education Partnership Program.

The Lone Star Leader Awards will be presented Wednesday, Aug.5 at the "State of Play" Business Meeting.
