TAB Resources for Filing FCC Radio License Renewal
posted on 3.15.2021Attorneys Scott Flick and Lauren Lynch Flick of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, TAB’s FCC legal counsel, have revised the firm’s Advisory on radio station license renewals, including those due April 1 from Texas radio stations.
The advisory may be found in the Legal Guides and Hotline portion of the Members section of the TAB website.
Texas TV stations seeking to get a glimpse of their 2022 license renewal process can look ahead by downloading the advisory as well.
This latest edition provides an overview of the renewal application process using the FCC’s online license renewal Form 303-S, the FCC’s Broadcast Equal Employment Opportunity Program Report Form 396, and the other steps broadcasters must undertake to ensure compliance with the FCC’s rules.
There also are specific directions for the post-filing broadcast public notices.
