TAB dues structure remains the same for 2008
posted on 9.25.2007For the tenth year in a row, the TAB Board voted to keep the membership dues structure unchanged.
Section 12 of the TAB bylaws requires the Board of Directors to set dues each year for all classes of membership.
The last significant change was adopted in 1997. At that time, the Board lowered the annual per market minimum from $240 to $100 and raised the maximum from $4,000 to $6,500.
Lobbying has become a year-round effort ?? particularly as state lawmakers continue to revisit the state's new business tax and as TAB pursues high-profile issues such as the need for a state Free Flow of Information law.
