  • The convention kicks off with the Annual Golf Tournament Wednesday morning, co-sponsored by CNN Newsource and Kantar Media.
  • The afternoon sessions are followed by the Opening Reception featuring a meet-and-greet and brief performance by Texas Country artists Kevin Fowler and George Ducas. The reception is co-sponsored by BMI, Sedgwick Detert Moran and Arnold, and The Nielsen Company.
  • Thursday?s proceedings open with the annual Community Service Awards Breakfast where the Bonner McLane Public Service Awards and Lone Star Leader Awards will be presented, thanks in part to the Texas National Guard.
  • RF Specialties and Harris Corporation are co-sponsoring the Walk-Around Lunch in the exhibit hall ? one of the convention?s most popular events.
  • The program concludes Thursday evening with the Texas State Networks-sponsored Chairman?s Reception, followed by the Annual Awards Gala. The Awards Gala honors Texas? leading broadcasters with the Pioneer, Broadcaster, Associate and Educator of the Year Awards and is co-sponsored by AT&T, Barger Broadcast Brokerage, George Marti and Jackson Walker LLP.
