TAB asks stations to air flu prevention PSA

Flu season has hit Texas hard and early, sadly taking lives of many of our fellow Texans already – with a potential for even more deaths in the next several weeks.

For that reason, TAB has agreed to distribute this PSA urging Texans to get a flu shot.  The immunization is widely available and can save lives. 

The PSA features Texas First Lady Anita Perry and Texas Health and Human Services Commissioner Kyle Janek.

TAB is asking stations to air the 30-second PSA through Friday, Feb. 14. 

"Your support will have a meaningful impact on your community and the State of Texas," said TAB President Oscar Rodriguez.

"Thank you for your consideration and for your great work in demonstrating daily that no industry does more to build and support local communities than broadcasters!"
