State ups staffing for Veterans Hotline

Texas veterans needing assistance navigating the federal Veterans Administration health care system are encouraged to call the Texas Veterans Hotline at 1-800-252-8387 (VETS).

Staffing for this state-funded hotline has been increased after extensive delays in the federal system were disclosed by VA whistleblowers.

PSAs touting the hotline are available for download by Texas television broadcasters.
