Southwest Broadcast Newsroom Workshop attracts large crowd

Nearly 200 broadcasters attended the Southwest Broadcast Newsroom Workshop on Sept. 21 in Dallas on the Southern Methodist University campus.

TAB’s annual newsroom workshop featured network news veterans Byron Pitts of ABC News, as well as Les Rose and Scott Keenan of CBS News.

In addition, a large group of the state’s broadcast newsroom and media law standouts presented a number of sessions at the workshop, nearly 30 in all, at the daylong event.
