
Virtual National FOI Summit Set for Sept. 24-Oct. 1
posted on 9.14.2020Registration is now open for the National Freedom of Information Coalition’s virtual FOI Summit, a seven day, seven session, hands-on training webinar series taking place Sept. 24 – Oct. 1.

The webinar is a chance for newsrooms to hear from Open Government and public information experts about the latest developments impacting state and local government transparency.
Topics include police reforms, virtual public meetings, COVID-19 health data, accessing public records, funding economic development, creating a transparency culture in public institutions, and FOI research paper presentations.
This year's summit will also include a three-hour hands-on training webinar in data journalism presented by the Investigative Reporters & Editors which is open to all attendees.
