PSAs available for stations in Ike's wake
posted on 9.12.2008The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has radio and television PSAs available for Texas stations in the wake of Hurricane Ike.
Because flooding is a public safety issue, HHS offers 30-second PSAs on how to stay safe and cope with problems and stress of flooding.
The advice covers such points as driving in flooded areas, keeping your children safe from flooding, avoiding carbon monoxide poisoning when the power is out and preventing mold.
The PSAs are appropriate for during and after the flood.
