NextGen TV’s Waltz Across Texas Takes Stage at TAB Show

- Added Focus on Cybersecurity, Lightning Safety

NextGen TV’s accelerating deployment in the Lone Star State commands center stage for TV managers and technologists alike at this year’s TAB Show Aug. 3-4 in Austin, with an added spotlight focused on safety-oriented topics such as best practices in cybersecurity and electrical grounding.

The industry’s leading vendors will showcase much of the technology supporting the new TV standard at the 115-booth trade show which also features a broad array of studio and transmission gear for all broadcasters.

High Dynamic Range Video for NextGen TV
Matthew Goldman with the Sinclair Broadcast Group provides an overview of HDR video, identifying the major formats standardized today and demystifying the technology tech and non-tech attendees alike.
