New TAB Political Broadcasting Advisory, Political Forms Now Availableposted on 1.21.2020
TAB’s new Political Broadcasting Advisory and revised TAB Political Forms are now available to TAB member stations. The new legal guide and revised political forms were prepared by attorney Scott Flick and the staff of TAB’s FCC legal counsel, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
The new guide incorporates FCC rule changes, federal law updates and FCC decisions in the political broadcasting realm in the past five years.
Flick has also updated TAB’s Political Forms which capture all the political recordkeeping information the FCC requires related to candidate and issue advertising. This information is then uploaded to stations’ online public files to satisfy FCC regulations.
TAB’s Political Forms serve the same function as the NAB’s political forms which are copyrighted.
The forms and legal guide are free to TAB member stations to download as an important member service.
