TAB’s new OurTown4Teens NCSA aims to reduce teen pregnancy

With Texas having one of the highest rates of teen pregnancy in the country, TAB is joining state and community leaders to address the problem with the new OurTown4Teens NCSA public awareness campaign sponsored by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

The new, seven week statewide radio and television campaign airs from July 17 through Aug. 31 and promotes the OurTown4Teens.org website which contains invaluable resources that can help communities develop effective approaches to reducing teen pregnancy.

The site is designed for parents, school administrators, healthcare practitioners, youth services providers and others. It provides a broad array of age appropriate instructional materials and other resources needed to connect with other organizations and tackle the unique circumstances underlying the problem on a county-by-county basis.
