NAB DTV satellite feed

NAB kicks off the 100-Day Countdown to DTV transition.

NAB will host a press conference at 11 a.m. (EST) on November 10 at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., to kick off the 100-day countdown to the DTV transition.

Senior officials from the FCC, Commerce Department and other industry and consumer groups will discuss initiatives to help Americans prepare during this last critical phase of the transition and urge the public to act before the February 17, 2009 deadline.

NAB will distribute video of the event to stations via satellite at 4 p.m. that same day.
