TAB Legislative Day Conference set for Jan. 24

Texas broadcasters converge on Austin Jan. 24 for TAB’s biennial Legislative Day Conference featuring briefings on key issues affecting the industry and lunch with local state lawmakers.
The event runs from 10 am to 2 pm and costs TAB members $50 to attend ($75 after December 18).
The lawmaker luncheon is program-free and you will be seated with your local lawmakers. You will have time to discuss issues important to local communities and our industry without interruption.
This conference sets the stage for advancing TAB’s 2017 legislative agenda safeguarding broadcast journalists, fending off onerous advertising restrictions and protecting the extensive, hard-won tax policies and newsroom protections we’ve secured in previous sessions.
Station owners, managers and news directors should attend.
