KLVT ND Jody Rose Leaving After 20 Years

Jody Rose, longtime News Director/Operations Manager at KLVT-AM Levelland, has resigned to take a position with Hockley County.

Rose, a Hockley County resident for more than 45 years and a graduate of Levelland High School, has served as KLVT News and Operations Manager for over 20 years under former owners Paul Beane and Monte Spearman, as well as under the current ownership of Tania Moody and Cute Boots Broadcasting LLC.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time covering news and community events for the Levelland and the Hockley County area,” Rose said.

“I have covered many city council meetings, school board, college board of regents and county meetings and have always worked towards being an excellence, fair and balanced reporter of the news.  I wish the management and staff of KLVT all the best and look forward to working with them as Elections Administrator for Hockley County. I also thank the listeners and many community members I have worked with over the past two decades for their support.”

"We are so very proud of Jody Rose as he moves into such an important role for Hockley County. As News Director for KLVT, he has served the citizens for years, bringing up-to- date and accurate news content and covering a variety of meetings during his tenure.

"We will miss his leadership, integrity and team spirit here at KLVT but we wish him the absolute best and know he will continue to bring his all in serving Hockley County and its residents," said Station Owner Tania Moody.
