Jarrott releases first book
posted on 3.24.2014David Jarrott has just e-published his first novel, “Blood Moon”, available at Amazon.com on the Kindle platforms. It’s a murder mystery set in the mid-1960s and 1970s in Central Texas as well as a coming of age story of two brothers and two sisters, set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War, the upheaval in American culture, the Texas music scene, and there’s even a little radio history in it. As one reviewer noted: “To anyone who lived through them, the 1960's had a profound impact that is still felt today. To anyone who came of age during them, that impact was exponential. Yet, current literature has produced no epic novels about that turbulent period. Until now.”
Jarrott was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2011 and the Texas Radio Hall of Fame Hall of Honor in 2002. His previous station affiliations include KCNY San Marcos, KNOW, KHFI, KTBC-TV, KXOL, KNOW, KEYI, and KKMJ Austin. Jarrott is a TAB Pioneer Club Member.
