Important TAB Convention details

The TAB Convention & Trade Show is one week away – are you ready!?

The Trade Show, all seminars and special events (except the Golf Tournament) will be held at the Renaissance Austin Hotel.

If you are registered or planning to attend, please take a minute to review these important items.

Golf Tournament

• Wednesday, Aug. 8 at the Avery Ranch Golf Club
• Buses leave the Renaissance at 6:45 am and won't return until the last player has finished (usually around 2:30 pm)
• Prizes will be given for Closest the the Pin, Longest Drive and Winning Team

TAB Registration Desk Hours

• You must check-in at the TAB Registration Desk (located on the lower level of the Renaissance Hotel) to pick up credentials
• Wednesday: noon-6:30 pm
• Thursday: 7 am-7 pm
• An official TAB badge is REQUIRED for entry to all sessions, special events and the Trade Show
• On-site registration lines can get long - please pre-register

TAB Exhibitors

• Setup and check-in: Wednesday, Aug. 8 from noon-6:30 pm
• Exhibitors must check-in at the TAB Registration Desk (located on the lower level of the Renaissance Hotel) to pick up credentials
• Note: you must pick up your badge in order to attend the Opening Reception and/or enter the Exhibit Hall after 6:30 pm (for after hours setup)
• The Trade Show is open from 9 am-5 pm on Thursday, Aug. 9

Opening Reception

• Wednesday, Aug. 8 from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Glass Oaks Ballroom at the Renaissance Austin Hotel
• Special Guest Performer: Ray Benson, Asleep at the Wheel
• An official TAB badge is REQUIRED for entry to the reception. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please plan to pick up your credentials at the TAB Registration Desk before 6:30 pm

Chairman's Reception & Awards Gala

• Thursday, Aug. 9 from 7-9:30 pm in Ballroom A at the Renaissance Austin Hotel
• Award winners: Dr. Dennis Harp, John Barger, William G. Moll
• Special Guest Speaker: Jerry Springer
• Pre-registration for this event is CLOSED.
