Houston Hispanic Chamber honors Frazier

The Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce saluted TAB Vice Chairwoman Sarah Frazier for her outstanding service to the Houston community.

Frazier is the Senior VP/Market Manager for Entercom Radio Houston. The Chamber presented Frazier with their Chairman/President & CEO Award on Saturday, Nov. 18 during their 40th Anniversary Awards ceremony at the Marriott Marquis in Houston.Sarah Frazier

Under Frazier's leadership, the stations donated more than $3 million in airtime to local charities, raised a million dollars in cash donations across all six stations, hosted two DACA/immigration forums for the Hispanic community and lobbied on behalf of small business owners in Washington to keep the deductibility of advertising as a business expense in the new tax plan.

Additionally, Entercom broadcasts "Eye on Houston," a weekly public service show supporting local non-profit efforts. The stations also stayed on the air for four days of non-stop, live and local coverage of Hurricane Harvey (in both English and Spanish).

The Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards is the largest Hispanic gala in Houston.

The Annual Awards recognizes successful executives, entrepreneurs and community leaders, and is attended by 1,000+ local business owners, entrepreneurs and leaders. Annual Awards winners are chosen through a rigorous selection process and represent the very best of their chosen field and professions.

The Chamber receives hundreds of nominations yearly, of which only six are chosen as honorees.
