FOI Foundation Of Texas, Texas AG’s Office Schedule June Open Government Seminars

The non-profit Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas and the Texas Attorney General’s Office have scheduled two half-day Open Government seminars in June to help journalists and others interested in the Texas Public Information Act and Texas Open Meetings Act get a broader understanding of Texas’ two main Open Government laws.

The Public Information Act and Open Meetings Act training sessions are approved by the Attorney General’s Office as meeting the state requirements for open government training for public officials, and also qualify for Continuing Legal Education for attorneys through the State Bar of Texas.

The events are free and open to the public, and while free, optional donations are welcome and can be made online at www.foift.org.

Reservations are encouraged but not required.

Register online or RSVP to kelley.shannon@foift.org
