FFOIA UPDATE: Senate committee approves HB 670

The Texas Senate Jurisprudence Committee voted 4-0 to adopt a committee substitute for HB 670 by Rep. Trey Martinez-Fischer, D-San Antonio.

The Committee added conforming language which had previously been added to the Senate version of the bill a few weeks ago.  There was also a new addition to the bill - an immediate effect clause if the measure becomes law.
