FCC Provides Instructional Video on Filing Ownership Reports
posted on 10.11.2021- Biennial Reports Due Dec. 1
The window for Texas stations to file their 2021 FCC biennial ownership reports on FCC Form 323 or 323-E is now open.
To assist filers with this biennial obligation, the FCC hosted an online public information session last week and have posted the video from the session on the FCC’s website and on the commission’s YouTube channel.
The Media Bureau’s September Public Notice lays out commercial and noncommercial broadcasters’ obligations to file the report.
These reports must be filed by Dec. 1.
Attorney David Oxenford with TAB Associate member law firm Wilkinson Barker Knauer said the FCC “has already warned broadcasters that there will be enforcement penalties for stations that do not file these reports.”
Further information about biennial ownership reports is available on the Commission’s web page.
In addition, stations can contact the FCC’s Jake Riehm, or William Durdach.
Alternatively, staff may send an email to form323@fcc.gov.
Questions? Contact TAB’s Michael Schneider or call (512) 322-9944.
