FCC Issues Order to Two Texas FM’s, Gives LPFM More to Time on LPFM Construction Permit Application

The FCC has issued an order to Kremling Enterprises, Inc., licensee of two Texas FM stations, to pay the stations’ delinquent annual regulatory fees or face revocation of the stations’ licenses.

The FCC said KYKM-FM Yoakum owed $8,774 for in delinquent regulatory fees for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024.

The commission said Kremling’s Hallettsville station, KTXM-FM, owed $7,912 in unpaid regulatory fees for the same years as KYKM.

In another Texas case from last week, the FCC has granted a partial reconsideration to Ministerios Charisma, so it may amend its application for a new LPFM station in Richardson.

The commission has initially dismissed the construction permit application on technical grounds.
