FCC finally acts: Regulatory fees due Sept. 23

The FCC kicked off its long Labor Day week-end last Friday with a Public Notice setting Sept. 23 as the deadline for stations’ payment of regulatory fees.

As anticipated, checks, money orders and cashier’s checks are no longer accepted for payment.  Licensees need to make arrangements to pay by wire, electronic funds transfer or credit card.
