FCC Cites Texas Religious Broadcaster for Non-Payment of Nearly $12,000 in Annual Regulatory Fees
posted on 2.18.2020The FCC has cited Consolidated Radio, Inc., licensee of KVOZ-AM Del Mar Hills for failure to pay four years of delinquent regulatory fees, associated interest, administrative costs, and penalties owed to the commission.
The regulatory fees amount to $11,957.28.
The commission sent had previously sent demand letters to KVOZ but the licensee did not pay its required annual regulatory fees.
The station has 60 calendar days to make the full payment or show why it cannot or should not be required to do so.
Earlier this month, a Texas Panhandle FM religious broadcaster was also cited for being nearly $12,000 in arears on payment of FCC annual regulatory fees.
