EAS IPAWS Signing Certificates Expire Soon

Signing certificates used by FEMA to validate CAP alerts on EAS encoders/decoders will expire Oct. 28. 

Sage and Digital Alert Systems (DASDEC) have released firmware updates that must be installed so ENDECS continue receiving the alerts after that date.

Broadcasters using ENDECS manufactured by other brands should contact their manufacturer to ensure their units are updated.
