Broadcasters mourn loss of Waller

Pioneer Texas Broadcaster Dudley Waller passed away on Sunday, May 29 in Jacksonville. He was 85.

Waller served on the TAB Board of Directors for several terms and as TAB Chairman in 1986.

He and his family are longtime owners of KMPA / KZXM / KFRO / KLJT Tyler-Longview.

Texas broadcasters presented Waller with TAB's highest honor - the Pioneer of the Year Award - in 1990.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 4:

• Visitation: 9-10 am at First Methodist Church
• Funeral Services: 10 am
