Broadcasters mourn loss of Pioneer Charlie Ravell

Pioneer Broadcaster Charlie Ravell, 61, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20 at Baptist Hospital in Orange.

He was the longtime chief engineer for KBTV-TV Beaumont.
Prior to KBTV-TV, Ravell spent four years working for KOGT Orange.
Ravell was preceded in death by his mother, Ardathe Bland and is survived by his good friend, Jeannie Ravell; son and daughter-in-law, Charlie Ravell, Jr. and Holly of Corpus Christi; son, Tommy Ravell of Orange and granddaughter, Madison Ravell.
